In May 2013, FOCUS GROUP in a partnership with the office Vigilecca & Associados, won a major international architecture and urban competion for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, the Deodoro Olympic Park, running against important international architecture names.

The complex will house nine sports: equestrian, hockey, shooting, cross country, fencing, modern pentathlon, mountain bike, BMX and canoe slalom.
 
The structures for questrian competitions, sport shooting and field hockey, already in place, will be expanded and modernized. Among the new facilities include a park for extreme sports, which includes an aquatic area that plays strong current to practice slalom canoeing.
